⁉️ Where are we WEDNESDAY?

Where we introduce you to a selection of photographs in our collection that depict an area that you may recognise.

The last post we had was at Helebridge, the view is looking up towards the bridge over the canal. The wall to the right of the photo still exists, and the gateway is now the entrance to the car park for The Barge Workshop. Did you get it?

Today’s photo is a bit trickier. But actually little has changed on Spicer’s Lane in Stratton, also sometimes known as Back Lane. During Medieval Times , Stratton was known for trading herbs and spices, particularly wild garlic and saffron.
