Opening today, Thursday 23rd March is our new and improved Gurney Room at The Castle, Bude. This room has been closed since Christmas as we have been re-inventing the look and interactives in this room so it is more appealing and reflects the work of our Sir Goldsworthy Gurney. We have been working with More Creative Solutions from Launceston to design the room and we feel they have done a fabulous job. This has been made possible from the very kind legacy donation from the late John Littlejohns Walter, a local gentleman who had a very keen interest in local history, thank you. Attached are before and after pictures, though a visit is a must to enjoy the changes. We hope you like it as much as we do.
