Heritage Festival set to return!

We are delighted that this years heritage festival can go ahead as planned, although slightly smaller than usual, the fun free family day will make a great addition to the events calendar this year.

Heritage day formally known as ‘Gurney Day’ will take place on Sunday 25th July 2021 on The Castle lawn, we are pleased that the Show Classes exhibitions will be able to return. These are a great way for the community to get involved in this important festival showcasing everything great about our local area!

So if you have a keen eye for photography, jam making, baking, vegetable sculpture, flower arranging or even building a recycled monster! there is something for all ages and interests.

There will be music on the bandstand, community stalls, refreshments and a circus skills workshops, falconry display, and last but not least the very popular vintage fairground rides.

With only a handful of events being able to take place this year, we are pleased to be able to offer this free day out for our community and visitors alike.
