Mother and daughter come together to showcase their diverse creativity and imagination in a collection of work that draws you into another world. Irene Jones’ painting is inspired by her love of Elizabethan portraiture, fuelled by her passion for storytelling and practised through a lifetime of painting. Jay is known for her use of bright, playful colours and unexpected compositions which bring a joyful tone to her work. Through her art, Jay invites you on a journey through time, memory, and imagination.

Sally Jones and Nicky May are delighted to show again at The Castle, Bude. The Willoughby Gallery is an inspiring space in which to see art and have coffee or lunch. Both Sally and Nicky paint pictures of lovely Bude, especially for this show: Sally’s will catch detailed features, and Nicky will respond to the feeling of being there.

 ‘A Retrospective’ by Gabrielle Goodchild  27th July – 15th August 

An exhibition to celebrate the life and works of Gabrielle Goodchild 1949-2022. Creativity was central to Gabrielle’s life, and this exhibition reflects the abundance of her creative diversity. It showcases many paintings in various types of media, drawing and printmaking, as well as sketchbooks; a collection that describes a journey through many years. All proceeds will be split between The Brain Tumour Support Charity Group and International Justice Ministries.
