Cultural Programme – Paula Rooney
‘Travelling solo when your children have flown the nest’ – At 55 years old Paula went inter-railing on her own for a month. It was life changing. She went to 10 different countries and slept in 16 different beds.
Two years later she walked the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile pilgrimage across Spain, solo again. This was another wonderful experience that took 36 days.
Join us for her talk in which she will re-tell her solo adventures and share photos and stories from both her trips.
