Tsunami Ocean Trails – OuterEdge Events

The team behind the public event will be using The Castle Lawn and surrounding area. This event is organised by a separate organisation and does not have anything to do with the team at The Castle. However, our onsite toilets, Café and facilities will be open during our usual hours from 10am until 5pm, where the doors will open and close. This also means that the facilities will be closed to the public outside of these hours, regardless of the event continuing. The Castle Heritage Centre is open to the public from 10am every day and is free entry (including dogs). We have some restrictions on where dogs can be within the building, but this is clearly labelled throughout. Monday’s is a ‘Dog-Free’ day, so we would be asking for those with dogs to only enter and sit in the Conservatory or decking area at the back of the building.

The Castle Heritage Centre is open for hire. The Castle Lawn, The Castle Bandstand, Bude Light (and adjacent lawn), The Blanchminster Room (seats 24 persons) and The Willoughby Gallery (seats 50 persons) can be hired privately for your own event. We do not hold an alcohol license, so this would need to be gained separately for any event where alcohol is being sold.
